A struggling man is tempted to have a drink after recovering from addiction. He drinks himself to sleep in his rundown ‘panel’ apartment. The next morning, his bottle of whiskey has been replenished mysteriously. As that continues for months, the man descends into a confusing bender. Bite marks appear on his body every morning. One night, a creature visits him. It replenishes his bottle and bites his ankle, drinking his blood and leaving a mark. The creature has effectively been drugging the man into forgetting everything so it can drink his blood. The man ends up on the streets. He’s happy with the Bottle of alcohol that appears every morning, and the Creature is happy with its victim’s blood.
